PENGARUH KOMPOS KULIT BUAH KAKAO TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT KAKAO (Theobroma cacao L.) DI MEDIUM GAMBUT
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
research is to find out the influence of cocoa podcompost and the best dose on
the grounth of cocoa seedling within peat medium. The research was carried out
in experimental farm Faculty of Agriculture University of Riau using completely
randomized design (CRD). Which consists of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The
observations were statistically analyzed further tested the smallest real
difference on 5%. Based on research results show that the inerease application
compost pod cocoa give contribution on inereasing parameters seedling height
accretion, number of leaves accretion, leaf area, and seedling dry weight.
Whereas parameters trunk circumference accretion, ratio of canopy root get not
respon different. Application of pod cocoa compost at doses 250g/plant get
result supreme at parameters seedling height accretion, number of leaves
accretion, trunk circumference accretion, leaf area, ratio of canopy root, seedling
dry weight.
