PENINGKATAN KECAKAPAN PERSONAL MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL
Abstract: The objective of
this research was to improve of personal skill through contextual teaching and
learning conducted at B group of the islamic kindergarten al-aqsha Jambi in
2013. The subject of research were 24 children. This research method was based
on the Research Action Class of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart Model included of four
steps (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and evaluation, and (4)
reflextion. The study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisted of 9 times
meeting. and data analysis were used quanlitative and quantitative data. The
data were collected used observation, interview non structure, and
documentation. Results of this research are showed an incresead children`s
personal skill through the contextual teaching and learning. The evident showed
by a average personal skill of children score of 44.29 pre cycle, then
increased in the first cycle of the second cycle of 56.79 and 85.75. The
findings that the contextual teaching and learning was could increase
children`s personal skill, and this research couldn`t be generalized.
