PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF BERBANTUAN ALAT PERAGA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 5 RAMBAH HILIR
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
research was to observe the effect of cooperative learning model used material
manipulative on student’s mathematic learning outcomes of student of 8th grade
junior High school 5 Rambah Hilir. This type of research was a Quasi
experimental with design Two-group posttest only. The population in this research
were all class and 8th grade junior High school 5 Rambah Hilir. Sampling was
done by random sampling, so the class VIII1 as a class control and the class
VIII2 experimental be sample. Instrument in this research was essay test that
later tasted the validity, discrimination power, level of difficulty and
reliability to determine whether or not to use. Lilefors normality test on the
sample test showed that the experimental class and control class normal
distribution. Homogeneity test with F test showed that class of homogeneous.
Based on the hypothesis testing performed by t test obtained t = 2, 1376 and t
= 2,1241. This means that thitung > ttabel, then H0 was rejected. It can be
concluded that were effect of the application of cooperative learning model used
material manipulative to the mathematic learning outcomes of student of 8th
grade junior High School 5 Rambah Hilir.
