PERAN UNICEF TERHADAP PERLINDUNGAN ANAK DARI VIRUS EBOLA DI GUINEA TAHUN 2014
Abstract: UNICEF sign in to
provide assistance in Guinea since February 2014, UNICEF is an organization
devoted to saving lives and promoting the welfare of children around the world,
the organization has made strides in preventing disease, improving sanitation
and education on health and hygiene practices. The purpose of this study is to
know the role of UNICEF in providing child protection from ebola virus at
Guinea on 2014, through UNICEF as initiator, facilitator, reconciler and
determiners. This study is a qualitative research. It uses the library research
method by taking the data from books, journals, articles and the internet. The
fourth efforts were seen on the UNICEF: UNICEF efforts in cooperation with the
World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN Secretary General and formed the
United Nations Mission for Ebola Emergency Response (UNMEER). UNICEF efforts in
the Draft Strategic Plan for Combating Ebola response, known Ebola outbreak
Priority Plan Response and Preparation Program in 6-month period (July-December
2014). Efforts UNICEF in collaboration with WHO, Canada and the United States
in producing vaccine prevention of Ebola as well as cooperation under the UN
and the African Union Commission (UA) to mobilize Member States, partners and
the international community to complement the efforts of the countries
affected, particularly in aid emergency fund.
