Abstract: Election Commission
Regency / City is the organizer of Election (Election) in charge of
implementing the election in the District / Municipal Elections are a means of
implementation of the sovereignty of the people held a direct, public, free,
confidential, honest and fair. In the election administration guided by the
principle of an independent, fair, rule of law, order, public interest,
transparency, proportionality, profesinalitas, accountability, efficiency and
effectiveness. Formulation Issues discussed are (1) How Corporate Election
Commission Sijunjung stages of the electoral district chief in Sijunjung, (2)
constraints faced by the Commission Sijunjung in the stage of local elections
in Sijunjung, (3) Efforts what do KPU Sijunjung in local elections in stages
Sijunjung. The research method used is a method of sociological research that
uses primary data and secondary data as a data source. Data collection
techniques are the study of documents and interviews. From the results of this
study concluded that the implementation of the responsibilities of the General
Election Commission Sijunjung in Carrying election of heads of Regional
simultaneously in the District has been executed well in spite of these
constraints, but can be overcome and running as it should be in accordance with
current regulations, it is evidenced by the high level of community
participation and the absence of election disputes which go to the State
Administrative Court and the Constitutional Court in the Regional elections in
2015.
