PRAKTEK PERKAWINAN JUJUR ANTARA MASYARAKAT BATAK DENGAN MASYARAKAT MINANGKABAU DI KECAMATAN PANTI KABUPATEN PASAMAN
Abstract: Batak tribal
communities so many immigrants in the district Panti, became one of the reason
for the marriage between Batak tribe to tribe un the district Panti Minangkabau
Pasaman. The marriage is usually done with an honest marriage. Issues to be
observed is how the implementation of honest marriage and what the legal
consequences of the marriage.
In this study the authors used sociological law research, the data is
essentially obtained by direct research in the field, for data collection used
interview techniques, which first prepare a list of questions in the form of
open as a means of data collection. Data were analyzed qualitatively.Of this
study concluded that, in order to carry out the marriage between the Batak with
Minangkabau society, in advance of the Minangkabau people appointed Batak tribe
using traditional ceremonies and marriage that is used is customary marriage
honest. As a result of marriage for the Minangkabau people will be Batak
society, for the usband/wife from the Minangkabau etnich marriage were not
caused separated from her biological relatives. Against a child, that child
will still inherit the clan and tribe from both parents and children closer
spiritual relationship to his father’s family. To property acquired before the
marriage remains of each depending on the agreement, the property during the
marriage will be controlled by husband. The legacy of that boy that can be in
herited, while girls only get grants.
