PELAKSANAAN REHABILITASI SOSIAL OLEH LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KLAS IIA PADANGTERHADAP NARAPIDANA NARKOTIKA (Studi di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Klas II A Padang)
Abstract: Social rehabilitation
has been carried out in prisons class IIA Padang formed on cooperation by the
Directorate General of Corrections Kemenkumham with BNN city of Padang on the
legal basis of the National Narcotics Board Letter No. B / 2006 / VII / DE /
RH.00.01 / 2016 / BNN dated July 13, 2016 on the Implementation of
rehabilitation in prisons. Prison inmates narcotics cases in Padang class IIA
totaled 520 people, they will be rehabilitated in four stages due to limited
number of rooms imaginable so that only allow 30 people to rehabilitate
inmates. The problems (1) How is the implementation of social rehabilitation by
Prison Class IIA Padang? (2) What are the constraints found class IIA Padang
prison officers in the implementation of the social rehabilitation of prisoners
narcotics? This research is a sociological juridical research. Data sources
include primary data and secondary data. Data collection through interviews and
document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion The results of the
study: (1) Implementation of the Social Rehabilitation conducted by Prison
Class IIA Padang from 60 people who undergo rehabilitation, 58 succeeded and 2
failed (2) the constraints are found officers Prison Class IIA Padang in the
implementation of social rehabilitation of prisoners in the number of narcotics
officer rehabilitation which amounted to only 8 people while inmates are
rehabilitated as many as 60 people so it is less efficient in the
implementation of the rehabilitation process.
