Abstract: PPAT role in land
registration, especially related to communal land. In connection with the
ownership of customary land rights, BAL also regulates land pendaftaraan that
aims to provide legal certainty. The problem in this research are: 1. How is
the role of PPAT In Communal Land Registration? 2. Are the constraints faced by
PPAT In Communal Land Registration? 3. Are efforts made by PPAT In Communal
Land Registration? This research used socio-juridical. Sources of data are the
primary data and secondary data. Data were collected by interviews and
collected data dokumen.Setelah studies conducted qualitative analysis. RESULTS:
1. The role of PPAT basically aims to provide legal certainty and certainty of
status rights include registered. 2. Constraints faced or encountered in
handling the application for registration is communally held land or communal
land. 3. The efforts made by PPAT in the face of constraints by proposing and
directing people in shaping the Ranji Ranji until sunrise.
