PELAKSANAAN KEWENANGAN GUBERNUR DALAM URUSAN AGAMA DI PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT (Studi Kasus Aliran Agama Ahmadiyah)
Abstract: In carrying out the
Organization of the Governor have two functions, the first; the head of the
lead organization of the autonomous and responsible fully about the operations
of local governance, second; the head of the region that runs the Affairs of
the Central Government which has been delegated to the Agency as the Deputy
Governor or vertical central Government in areas provided for in Act No. 23 of
2014 including also in the Affairs of religion found in the area. Formula is
(1) How the implementation authority Gubenur in religious affairs in West
Sumatra? (2) what are the constraints faced by the Governor in taking care of
the Affairs of the religion in the West Sumatra Province? (3) the efforts made
by the Governor in taking care of the Affairs of the religion in the West
Sumatra Province? The method of approach is a sociological legal research using
primary data. The technique of data collection is the study of the documents
and interviews. Technique of data analysis is qualitative analysis techniques.
Research results can be concluded that: (1) in the exercise of the authority of
the Governor doing coordination with Agencies vertical, conduct surveillance,
and construction, (2) obstacles encountered is the absence of a clear authority
owned by the Governor in the Affairs of religion, lack of public awareness, (3)
the efforts made Governor: establish a firm rule, improve coordination with
Kemenag, raising awareness of the community.
