STUDI PERUBAHAN GARIS PANTAI MENGGUNAKAN CITRA SATELIT LANDSAT 7 DI PANTAI TANAH MERAH KECAMATAN SAMBOJA KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA
ABSTRACT: Coastal line changes
is a major problem for the sustainability of coastal ecosystems, particularly the
changes of coastline formed by a erosion and accretion processes that can
threat the sustainability of coastal ecosystem in facing coastal change. In
facing the study of coastal zoneproblem is the basis information that should be
mastered in facing and solving this problem. The coastal change was analyzed
with multi-temporal analysis using Landsat 7 ETM+ series satellite. Visual
interpretation of RGB 543 was done to identify the shoreline, method End Point
Rate was used to calculate the area of erosion and accretion, by converting
digitized polyline feature into a polygon feature. The results of this study
showed that over a period 2002 until 2014 Tanah Merah coastline experienced
extensive abrasion of 4.2 ha with the average annual abrasion of 0.3497 ha/year
(3,497 ) the coast have been facing accretion averagely 1.0625 ha/year (10,625
). During 12 year, the average of coastline change due to abration range from
0.01 m to 1.29 m/year while for change due to accretion was ranged from 0.05 to
8.06 m/year.
