KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT BESI (Fe) DAN MANGAN (Mn) PADA IKAN YANG DIBUDIDAYAKAN DI KOLAM PASCA TAMBANG BATUBARA KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA KALIMANTAN TIMUR

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to analyze the heavy metals concentration level of iron and manganese during one month cultivated of carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) and tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) were cultured in post coal mining pond at Loa Ipuh Darat. Analysis of heavy metal content of manganese (Mn) and iron (Fe) in fish flesh have been destructed and analyzed by AAS (Atomic Absorption Speetrophotometry) method. The result showed the highest content of iron (Fe) content in carp’s flesh was 0,376 mg/kg and the lowest was 0,026 mg/kg. whereas, the highest of manganese content of carp’s flesh was 0,047 mg/kg and the lowest was 0,016 mg/kg. The highest iron content in tilapia’s flesh was 0,212 mg/kg and the lowest was 0,055 mg/kg, while the highest content of manganese was 0,063 mg/kg and the lowest was 0,031 mg/kg. The result of this study showed during culture period period of heavy metal Consentration level of iron and manganese in carp and tilapia were not exceed of Nutrition Directorate of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia 1967.
