STUDI KEBIASAAN MAKANAN IKAN PUYAU (Osteochilus vittatus) DI WADUK BENANGA KOTA SAMARINDA

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out about the study of food habits Bonylip barb (Osteochilus vittatus). This research was conducted from March to May 2015. The determination of the sample points are determined based on a catch of fish traps fishing gear is installed. The main parameters measured were the content of the contents of the intestine/stomach Bonylip barb as well as supporting parameters such as temperature, brightness, DO, phosphorus, nitrate. Type of food were identified as species of plants and moss, insects or insects, small fish and species that are not detected. The analysis showed the largest section index (an index of preponderance) that become fish food habits Bonylip barb on March 3, 2015 is the highest percentage of plant species by 48%. On March 20, 2015 is the highest percentage of 44% of plant species. And on 7 April 2015 the highest percentage of plant species by 41%. It can be concluded that the Banylib barb (Osteochilus vittatus) fall into this category tend to herbivor omnivor.
