ABSTRACT: Silver shark minnow
fish caught during the study amounted to 100 individuals (13 males and 87 females)
during three periods in which, were the first period were 32 individuals (6
males and 26 females). In the second period were 38 individuals (4 males and 34
females) and in third periodwere 30 individuals (3 males and 27 females). Based
on total length range, of the silver shark minnow fish there were 6 and 7
length range, withe the smallest size of 77 mm and the largest was 175 mm. The
growth patterns of male fish were positive allometrik (b> 3), silver shark
minnowwhich means the weigh was more dominated than the accretion length and
than the growth patterns of female fish were positive allometrik (b> 3),
silver shark minnow which means the weigh was more dominated than the accretion
length. The largest fish catch composition was as period I with size interval
of 116-128 mm and the composition of fish catches for gonad maturity level IV
are on II repetition of the fish so it can be assumed that the peak of spawning
occurs in march. Based on the gonad maturity level, silver shark minnow fish
overally first mature gonads were in the size interval of 129-141 mm. Gonad
maturity index value of silver shark minnow fish overally ranged from
0,12-13,69%, with a range of male fish IKG of 0,12-0,34% and female fish of 0,43-13,69%.
The range of total silver shark minnow fish fecundity were from 225 to 2292
points with a total length ranging from 77-175 mm, body weight ranged from
6,50-49,61 grams and gonad weight ranged from 0,76-3,56 grams. Shark minnow
fish sex ratio in overall and based on aperiod were not balanced and dominated
by female fish.
