PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN POE (PREDICTION, OBSERVATION AND EXPLANATION) DISERTAI MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN KERJA ILMIAH DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA-FISIKA DI SMP
Abstract: This research
focused on the application of POE learning model (Prediction, Observation and
Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media. The purpose of this research is
to describe the scientific work skills of students by using POE learning model
(Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media in
science-physics learning in junior high school and assess the effect of POE
learning model (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by
audiovisual media of student’s achievement science-physics learning in junior
high school. This type of research is experiment research at SMP 1 Jember. Data
collection method used were observation, portfolios, documentation, test and
interview. Data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test with
SPSS 16.The analysis results of scientific work skills using descriptive
analysis is 3,45 with the criteria is very good. The analysis result of
student’s learning achievement is 0,723> 0,05. Based on the analysis
result,we can concluded that the scientific work skills by POE learning model
(Prediction, Observation and Explanation) accompanied by audiovisual media is
categorized as very good but has no effect on student’s science achievement.
