STUDI INTERAKSI UJUNG TERBUKA SINGLE WALLED CARBON NANOTUBE (SWCNT) DENGAN ATOM KALIUM MENGGUNAKAN METODA SEMIEMPIRIS AM1

Abstract: Research on the interaction of the open end SWCNT (8.0) with K atoms using AM1 Semiempiris of  Hyperchem  package  has  been  done.  K  atoms  undergo  physical  and  chemical  interactions  at the  open  end  of  the  SWCNT,  some  atoms  K  is  released  and  diffuses  into  the  tube  SWCNT.  The imposition  of the  particular position of changing the  structure of SWCNT open  end. The results showed  no  significant  imposition  K  atoms  change  the  electrical  conductivity  of  SWCNT  open end. At the open end SWCNT (8.0) on top value ΔE 2-3,7 eV. Imposition of atomic K for types of SWCNT open end causing an increase in BE and Eads with increasing atomic number K in drop.
