PRODUKSI BIOETANOL MENGGUNAKAN METODA SIMULTANEOUS SACCHARIFICATION FERMENTATION (SSF) DARI LIMBAH KULIT NANAS DENGAN PERLAKUAN BASA
Abstract: The lignocellulosic
contents in pineapple peels provide an opportunity to be alternative energy such as
bioethanol. Utilization the
natural resources as
renewable energy are expected able
to overcome the issues
of energy crisis.
The pineapple peels
are converted to
be bioethanol by using
cellulase enzyme from
Trichoderma viride T1
Sk and Saccharomyces
cerevisiae yeast by Simultaneous Saccharification Fermentation
method. Determination optimum
pretreatment was obtained by
soaking NH4OH 8%
for 48 hours.
Measuring the concentration
of reducing sugar at
the enzymatical saccharification was
obtained 1425,89 mg/L
for 105 minutes saccharification time.
Assay of the
cellulase enzyme activity
toward CMC substrate
was 0.66 unit/mL. Bioethanol
yield was obtained 76,36% of percent area for 1.632 minutes retention time and
by GC-MS 3,818 mL of ethanol volume.
