Pengaruh Pendekatan Observasi-Refleksi terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Materi Kuliah Profesi Kependidikan

Abstract:  Learning through modelling is not only learn about the weakness of model, but also to foster a new inspiration to be better than   the model. Observation-reflection is a learning approach through observing and reflecting activities from the model (toward basic skills of teaching practice). The purpose of this reseach was to know  the  influenced of    observation-reflection approach toward  students’ understanding of educational profession  material . This research  was  quasi-experimental  by  using  the  posttest  only  control  design.  The  Sample  of  this  study  were  two classes that involved 47 students  in the second semester of the teaching profession courses in Academic Year of  2015/2016  at  Biology Education  Department, Sebelas Maret University  included  23 students of class A (control class  by  using  conventional  approaches)  and  24  students  of  class  B  (experiment  class    by  using    observation-reflection approach). The data collection using test technique by understanding of profession educational material test  and  non-test techniques by questionnaire of  students’ responses about observation-reflection approach) and data analysis by using t-test. The result showed that no significant differences of observation-reflection approach toward students’ understanding of the professional education material.
