PENGARUH JENIS BATANG KATODA TERHADAP KINERJA SEL FOTOVOLTAIK SEMIKONDUKTOR Cu2O DALAM ELEKTROLIT GEL Na2SO4

Abstract: Type of cathode effect to performance of semiconductor Cu2O photovoltaic cell in gell Na2SO4 as electrolyte  has  been  studied.  This  research’s  goal  to  find  the  type  of  cathode  which  produce current  and  voltage  that  relatively  large  and  stable.  Cu,  C,  and  Al  were  used  as  cathode.  The result  showed  Cu2O/Al  has  the  best  performance  as  photovoltaic  cell  and  achieved  optimum concentration of Na2SO4 at 0.75 N. For 3-seried circuit of Cu2O/Al photovoltaic cell has  Isc 0.358 mA and Voc 1.87 V , Imp and Vmp 0.337 mA and 0.623 V respectively . Fill Factor (FF) 0.313 and P maks  0.367  Watt/m2  ,  ɳ  1.682  %.  Meanwhile  for    3-parallel  circuit  of  Cu2O/Al  photovoltaic  cell has Isc 0.645 mA and Voc 0.548 V , Imp and Vmp 0.478 mA and 0.461 V respectively.  Fill Factor (FF) 0.623 , P maks 0.386 Watt/m2, ɳ 1.766 %.
