PENAMBAHAN Trichoderma viride PADA PROSES PENGOMPOSAN TANDAN KOSONG KELAPA SAWIT TERHADAP KANDUNGAN NITROGEN-TOTAL, KALIUM DAN POSFOR
Abstract: The research
concerning determination of macro nutrients (N, P, K) using
empty palm bunch by adding
trichoderma viride has
been done. N,
P, K determinations were
analyzed by Kjeldahl method, Spectrophotometry and
SSA method. Has
performed testing of
the content of
NPK in the composting
process oil palm
empty fruit bunches
(EFB) with the
addition of the
fungus Trichoderma viride. Where
the mass variation
of fungus used
is at 0
g (as control),
5 g, 10
g, 15 g were
added into each
of 50 g
EFB that has
been refined. EFB
obtained initial content
before compostability are as
follows: Nitrogen-total 0.0028%,
0.0001% of phosphorus
and potassium at 0.0523%.
Composting conducted over
45 days since
the day of this compost
is added with Trichoderma viride has become
fertilizer. Based on the quality requirements of SNI - 19-7030-2004 compost blackish
colored, earthy, physical
form friable /
crumbly. Of the
four variations of the
added mass of
fungus obtained-total nitrogen
content, phosphorus and
potassium highest on Trichoderma viride
addition of 15 g is
0.087%, 0.197%, and 1.3819%.
In this study,
the addition of the
fungus Trichoderma viride
on EFB composting
process has been
shown to accelerate
the composting process and improving macro nutrients in the compost
produced.
