PENGARUH HIDROKSIAPATIT TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KOMPOSIT KITIN/KITOSAN DARI LIMBAH KULIT UDANG

Abstract: The effect of  hidroxyapatite toward chitin/chitosan composite’s formation from waste shrimp shell  had  been  conducted.  Samples  were  analyzed  byFTIRequipment(Fourier  Transform  Infrared), SEM(Scanning  Electron  Microscopy)  andTG-DTA  (Thermal  Gravimetry-Different  thermal  Analysis). FT-IR spectra show the peaks of the carbonyl group on λ = 1557,69 cm-1 indicated acetyl group on composite.  SEM image show the looked like  long  needle while on another composition formed agregat.  ResultTG-DTA  analysis  showed  the  stability  thermal  formed  at  addition  on  variation  1 gram of hydroxyapatite and was proved by stable weight decrease  at every stage. The increasing of  hydroxyapatite  on  sample  can  increase  the  thermal  stability  of  composite chitin/chitosan/hydroxyapatite.
