ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI SENYAWA METABOLIT SEKUNDER DARI EKSTRAK ETIL ASETAT ALBEDO BUAH PAMELO (Citrus maxima (Burm.) Merr.)
Abstract: Isolation of
flavonoid in mesocarp
(albedo) from Citrus
maxima (Burm.) Merr.
has been done. Mesocarp powder
was extracted by
maceration method using
methanol. After that,
it was fractionated by
hexane and ethyl
acetate solvents. Extract
of ethyl acetate
was separated by column
chromatography to obtain
a pure isolated
compound. The isolation
compound is like needle-shaped yellow crystal from
extract of ethyl acetate with melting point 191ºC - 192ºC. The UV-Vis and IR
spectroscopy revealed this flavonoid compound (flavon group) has the hydroxyl functional
group in C-5 position and prenyl functional group in C-6 position.
