ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI SENYAWA KUMARIN DARI EKSTRAK AKTIF ETIL ASETAT KULIT BATANG LOA (Ficus racemosa L) SEBAGAI ANTIOKSIDAN

Abstract: Isolation  of  coumarin  from  the  bark  of  Loa  (Ficus  racemosa  L)  has  been  performed.  Isolation  by maceration method using n-hexane and ethyl acetate as solvent. Antioxydant ability is measured by the method of using the free radical DPPH (1,1 -diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) and it shows both the  active  extract  has  a  good  capacity  as  antioxydant.  Ethyl  acetate  extraction  used  very  actived as antioxydant and IC50 value was 29 651 mg / L, and the ethyl acetate extract was separated by column chromatography (stationary phase: silica and mobile phase n-hexane: ethyl acetate (4: 6) with  isocratic  method.  insulating  compound  is  a  yellowish  white  amorphous  (3mg)  and decompotitioned  at  185oC,  and  it  resulted  in  a  single  place  with  blue  fluorisence  at  λ  365  nm. Identification used coumarin-specific reagent (1% NaOH, NH4OH) causes fluorisence of becamed pale blue dark blue. Coumarin it do not activate it as antioxydant with IC50 value 516.5 mg / L.
