PENENTUAN ZAT PEMANIS BUATAN PADA SAMPEL MINUMAN OLAHAN DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH DASAR SE-KECAMATAN PAUH, KOTA PADANG SECARA KROMATOGRAFI CAIR KINERJA TINGGI (KCKT)

Abstract: Determination  of  Artificial  Sweeteners  Substances  at  Beverages  Samples  in  Elementary  School Environmental  in  throughout  Pauh,  Padang  city  with  High  Performance  Liquid Chromatography  (HPLC)  has  been  done.  This  study  aimed  to  determine  the  levels  of  artificial sweeteners  in  beverages  processed  in  the  school  environment  whether  contents  is  still  legal compliance.  Condition  of  the  research  were  reverse  phase  of  HPLC  method  used  C18  column (150 mm x 4.6 mm), mobile phase aquabidest : acetonitrile (95: 5), flow rate 1 mL/minute with the UV detector λ 220 nm. The determination coefficient of sodium saccharin was 0,996 whereas sodium cyclamate was 0.964. The analysis showed all the samples containing sodium saccharin but not detected sodium cyclamate. Sodium saccharin content of the A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H samples 32.8995 mg, mg 30.0642, 59.2972 mg, mg 35.8975, 21.8812 mg, 46.0881 mg, mg 60.2040, and  75.6120  mg,  respectively.  Sodium  saccharin  content  are  still  within  the  limits  allowed, except in sample H had crossed the permissible limit maximum content of sodium saccharin in beverages according to SNI 01-0222-1995 is 0 to 2.5 mg / kg.
