OPTIMASI PENENTUAN Fe(III), Co(II) DAN Cr(III) SECARA SIMULTAN DENGAN VOLTAMMETRI STRIPING ADSORPTIF (AdSV) MENGGUNAKAN KALKON SEBAGAI PENGOMPLEKS
Abstract: The research
of the determination
of Fe(III), Co(II)
and Cr(III) by
adsorptive stripping voltammetry has
been done. The
aim of this
research are to
determine the optimum conditionsofheavy metalsFe(III), Co(II)
andCr(III) simultaneously.This method
is based on adsorptive
accumulation of metal-calcon, Co(II)-calcon, and
Cr(III)-calcon complexes onto hanging
mercury drop electrode,
followed by reduction
of adsorbed element.
Theoptimummeasurement are:
calconconcentration, pH solution, accumulationtimeandaccumulation
potential. Optimum conditions are concentration of calcon at 0,6
mM, pH 7
(buffer ammonia), potential
accumulation at -0.4
V, and accumulation
time at 60 seconds.
Then, this optimum
condition applied on
three kind of
water. They are
brackish water from Teluk
Kabung region, sea
water from Bungus,
and wells water
from Cengkeh village, Padang. Data of relative standar
deviation and recovery are 0.39 % and 95.07 % for Fe(III), 1.97 % and 99.12 %
for Co(II), 1.95 % dan 92.85 % for Cr(III), respectively.
