ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI SENAWA METABOLIT SEKUNDER DARI EKSTRAK ETIL ASETAT KAYU SURIAN (Toona sinensis) DAN UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN
Abstract: Isolation and
characterization of secondary
metabolites from ethyl
acetate extract of timber
surian (Toona sinensis)
and antioxidant activity
test was carried
out. Extraction carried out
with a using
maceration method (method
pulp), isolation by
column chromatography and purification
with a recrystallization. Antioxidant
activity test was conducted using 1,1-diphenyl-2-prikril
hydrazine (DPPH). Isolated compounds obtained as a
white solid (amorphous)
with a melting
point of 207-208oC that
provides a single reddish spots
with a varying
ratios of eluent
use Liebermann-Buchard reagent.
Of UV and IR spectrum data of
these compounds are known to have no conjugated double bonds and provide
important absorption bands
which identifies alcohol
-OH functional group, the
CH stretching and
typical absorption triterpenoid
compounds that geminal
dimethyl absorption. The antioxidant
activity of methanol
and ethyl acetate
extracts are respectively 82.23%
and 60.15% with IC50 value 31.62 mg / L and 99.02 mg / L.
