Abstract: Synthesis of
silver nanoparticles as a part
of the development
of nanotechnology has
been successfully carried out
by chemical reduction
method using bioreduktor
of gambier’s leaf extract. The process of biosynthetic
conducted at various various conditions showed that the best conditions for the
synthesis of silver nanoparticles is AgNO3 0.01 M (Treaksi=25˚C). The use of 1%
Polivinil alkohol (PVA) as a capping
agent had produced silver nanoparticles with high colloidal stability. Silver
nanoparticles was floured
grayish and shiny.
The results of
X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) displayed
the same peak
pattern obtained with
standard silver metal.
The Ag crystallite size for
concentration of AgNO3
0.1 M was
larger than AgNO3
0.01 M. Transmission
Electron Microscope (TEM) showed
that particle size
of Ag was
about 59 nm
from AgNO3 0.1
M, while about 22 nm of AgNO3
0.01 M.
