ISOLASI DAN KARAKTERISASI SENYAWA KUMARIN DARI EKSTRAK ETIL ASETAT DAUN TABAT BARITO (Ficus deltoideus Jack)
Abstract: Secondary
metabolites of coumarin compound has
been isolated from leaves Tabat Barito (Ficus deltoidues Jack).
The powder of
leaves extracted by
maceration using hexane
and ethyl acetate solvent .
The ethyl acetate
extract was by
column chromatography using
silica gel as
stationary phase and amobile
phase of hexane
and ethyl acetate
in with Step
Gradient Polarity (SGP). Isolated compoundhas the shape of
whiteamorphous (32.9 mg), decomposed at 1670C and test on TLC gave
a bluefluorescence at λ 365 nm. Based on the UV and IR
spectra of the
isolated compound showed ring
lactone chromophore and
functional group -OH
at 3412 cm-1,
-CH stretching at 2850 cm-1, C=O stretching at 1708 cm -1, C=C
stretching 1464 cm-1 and C-O stretching at
1051 cm-1. Using
the specific test
reagent NH4OH and
NaOH showed fluorescence
indicating that the isolated
compound as coumarin group. The
results of test
antibacterial showed that the extract ethyl acetate and isolated compound, active against the bacteria
Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
