Abstract: Terrorism is
an alternative that
can be selected
by the radical
organization to take
the fight against an ideology or a country that is considered to
create unfairness to
certain community groups in
the people and
the nation. Terrorism
is specifically designed
to cause fear that the outside of the target or victim. After the
explosion at the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton, with the help of police forensic
experts have identified the perpetrators are still a very young age of 16
years-17 years. In this case the issue is whether the form of legal protection
given to children in a crime of terrorism. Children as perpetrators can be
sentenced to imprisonment of at least 1 day and up to 10 years (Article 19 of
Act No. 15/2003). Children as
victims of crimes
of terrorism are
entitled to compensation
or restitution (article 36 of Act No. 15/2003). In the future, to
anticipate the involvement of children
in acts of
terror or other
crime, presumably educational
factors, family and environment are factors.
