PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS, FIRM SIZE, MTBV, ARUS KAS DAN PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR KEUANGAN DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA
Abstract: This
research aimed to
examine the influence
of profitability, firm size,
MTBV, cash flow
and sales growth
toward dividend policy on
the fnancial sector
in the Indonesia
Stock Exchange in period 2008-2012. The research sample consisted of 16 financial sector
companies. The sampling
method using purposive sampling technique.
Techniques of data
analysis in this
research uses multiple linier
regression analysis and
hypothesis testing performed using
the F test
and t test.
The result showed
that the variables of
profitability, MTBV, and
sales growth no
effect on dividend policy.
While the variables
firm size and
cash flow had a negative effect
on dividend policy.
The value of Adjusted R
Square explains that the
regression model is
ability of profitability, firm
size, MTBV, cash flow and sales growth in explaining the dividend policy
of 13,2% and the remaining 86,8% is explained by other variables.
