STUDI POTENSI KIAMBANG (Lemna minor) SEBAGAI ORGANISME BIOFILTER DALAM SISTEM AKUAKULTUR RESIRKULASI
ABSTRACT: This study aims to
analyze the influence due to the difference of the flow rate of population
growth kiambang filter, and
the level of
waste nitrogen assimilation
by fish waste
products kiambang. Water quality
changes that occur in fish rearing water quired for the grand of biofilter
kiambang. Kiambang (Lemna minor)
is used as
a biofilter in
aquaculture systems capable
convection 7,1±2,3% N and 27,08±9,93% P from Tan production and PO4-P
produced by fish. Kiambang has faster
population growth when
grown in a
recirculating aquaculture system, but
not significantly different for
each treatment. However,
significantly different for
the experimental group,
where groups II giving
the highest growth
rate with a
time of 2,2±1,6
days. Kiambang (Lemna
minor) performs fine at
absorbing waste N
and P from
aquaculture waste, so
that each unit
has the potencial to be used in
recirculation aquaculture.
