Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Perencanaan Pengelolaan Kebutuhan Bahan Baku untuk Produksi Air Bersih pada PDAM Surya Sembada Kota Surabaya

Abstract:  Perusahaan  Daerah  Air  Minum  (PDAM)  Surya  Sembada  Surabaya  is  a state company for  providing  drinking  water  for  the  residents  of  Surabaya  (Walikota   :  2003).  Until  now,  PDAM had difficulty in  determining   the optimum order and inventory raw materials   cost  economically for production.  Because the raw material planning is only based on the actual usage of raw  materials used to produce water in the previous period. The  problems   required   application   management  planning  needs  of  raw  material  in  PDAM   which can  help  in  planning   raw  material requirements .  This application  applies   the methods   Forecasting Triple  Exponential  Smoothing  Winter  determining  the  average  demand  for raw materials   with the data  pattern  of  seasonal  and  tend  to   trend ,  Re-Order  Point  (ROP)  determining  time  of  booking returned   after  the  inventory   reaches  a  certain  amount ,  and  Economic  Order  Quantity   (EOQ) determining  the  optimum   number  of  orders   resulting  in   an economical  total cost   of inventory  on problems of supply to demand  is not  permanent and seasonal pattern. From  the results of trials, the application is successfully helping and generate value planning needs quickly  and  accurately.  It  can  be  seen  from  the  response  time  calculation  raw  material  planning with forecasting methods, ROP  and EOQ  less than 15 minutes .
