Abstract: The global crisis is
an event where all economic sectors in the world market collapse and affect
other sectors around the world. As a result of the global crisis that occurred
in the U.S., has a great impact on European countries, one of which is Greece
and the economic crisis in Greece have a negative impact on the economy of
Italy. Domino Effect financial crisis Italy is feared may extend not only the
European region and even globally. Process of domino effect Italian financial
crisis is expected to come from the banking system of interrelated and complex
in Europe. Italy's economic crisis deepened, the country's debt is very high
reaching up to € 1.9 trillion ($ 2.6 trillion) or equal to 120% of the Italian
GDP. Government policy is needed in the face of the global crisis. Various ways
continue to save the country from a prolonged crisis, as did the Italian
government Silvio Berlusconi, who served as Prime Minister Mario Monti before.
Because of the lack of supervision and failure of several attempts to overcome
Berlusconi in Italy's public debt which in turn Berlusconi resigned as prime
minister and was replaced by Mario Monti. To minimizing the economic crisis in
Italy, Monti implement macroeconomic policy which contains the fiscal and
monetary policy.
