PERKEMBANGAN AL-QAEDAH PASCA KEMATIAN OSAMA BIN LADEN
Abstract: This study aims to
describe the development of Al-Qaeda after the death of Osama bin Laden. In
this research study is a type of predictive intended to predict or estimate
what will happen or take place at the time of the coming of the development of
Al-Qaeda after the death of Osama bin Laden which was based on the analysis of
the current state. Studies conducted by the tendency to see the development
over a period of time, at this time or at the last moment so that it can be
seen that the trend in the future. Data used in this study is the data -
secondary data obtained from the literature, books, journals, official reports
and information from the internet relating to the discussion of issues. This
study uses qualitative analysis techniques, which connects the data with other
data which has a mutual relationship with a relevant connection point.
Results of the study showed that based on confirmed indications suggest
that Al-Qaeda is growing stronger. Transformation through the ideological
boundaries, physical and geography, making the movement as a global forum for
individuals or groups who have the same agenda. Osama bin Laden's death will
not change the strength of Al-Qaeda. Patterns for Al-Qaeda attack shows that
the organization has its own life and strength and do not depend on a
particular leader or figure in the organization. Islam only ideology alone that
makes this movement more solid, stronger and able to fight even after the death
of its leader. So, living or dead, Osama bin Laden remains a role model and
inspiration for the figure of Al-Qaeda organization. Osama bin Laden's death
will not affect the attacks of Al-Qaeda leader because every region has the
full right to determine the tactics and targets of attack.
