STRATEGI PEMERINTAH INDONESIA MENGHADAPI PRODUK HANDPHONE CHINA DALAM PERDAGANGAN BEBAS ACFTA (ASEAN - China Free Trade Area)
Abstract: Indonesia with
other ASEAN countries have liberalized trade through agreements
ASEAN - China Free Trade Area (ACFTA)
which was marked by the
signing of the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Co-operation between the
Association of South East Asian Nations and the People's Republic
of China. By using the
concept of interests and
institutions and the concept of free trade in Indonesia is known that mobile
phones are now becoming one of the staples to facilitate the public in a
variety of activities. The high
demand for mobile phone demand in Indonesia but has not been able
to produce its own so
that Indonesia needs to import mobile phones from other countries especially
from China given the mobile
phone products from China have relatively low
prices that are accessible by
all people. But the
increase in imports of China
mobile phone after ACFTA agreement that apply tariffs to 0% will make
Indonesia's dependence on the
China mobile phone products that precludes
the possibility of local entrepreneurs to produce mobile phones in the future
and therefore the Indonesian
government strategy to
reduce the rate
of import mobile phones.
