UPAYA DIPLOMASI PUBLIK PEMERINTAH INDONESIA DALAM MEMPERBAIKI CITRA SEPAKBOLA INDONESIA DI DUNIA INTERNASIONAL (Studi Kasus Dualisme Kepengurusan PSSI Tahun 2011-2012)
Abstract: This research
aims to describe
efforts of the
Indonesian government's public diplomacy in
improving the national
football image in
the international community. This
type of research
is descriptive which
depicts Indonesian government public
diplomacy efforts in
improving the national
football image in the
international (this study case is about dualism of PSSI and KPSI in 2011-2012 ).
The data delivered is secondary data obtained through literature review and literature
such as books,
the Internet, and
others. The analysis
technique used is the Library or Library Research Studies.
The results showed
that the impact
of the conflict
dualism between the
PSSI and KPSI inviting various international public opini. The opinion
arises due to the decrease of
the Indonesian national
team achievements, policies
to ISL players and
foreign players career
death in Indonesia.
In this study
also discusses the Indonesian
government's efforts in
improving the image
of the national football
internationally through cultural
diplomacy approach. The efforts taken from the internal and external
sides.
