PENOLAKAN IRAN ATAS PERJANJIAN PERDAGANGAN SENJATA INTERNASIONAL PBB 2013
Abstract: Broadly speaking,
the purpose of the ATT is to prevent the formation of conventional weapons into
the black market. During the formation process of the ATT that began in 2006,
there is debate on this treaty. There are some who refuse ATT especially major
countries exporters of conventional weapons such as the United States, China,
and Russia. However, the majority of UN member states, agreed to the
establishment of the ATT.Iran's participation in the formation process began in
2006, Iran actively participate in each meeting, as well as in the formulation
of article in ATT, Iran is also active in giving opinions about ATT. However,
the adoption of ATT in April, 2013, Iran refused even to take a stand. It could
be argued that in contrast to the attitude of Iran during the formation of the
ATT, which Iran has one of the support of the establishment of the regime. In
this study, there are two main points of Iran reject reason approving content
darft ATT. First, the security related to traditional iran, both related to
non-traditional security.
