PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA BIOLOGI UNTUK MATERI AJAR PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN KELAS 8-C SEMESTER GASAL DI SMP NEGERI 1 BANGIL
Abstract. Group Investigation
(GI) is a learning model that designed to student participation in planning to
investigation stages. GI does not just drive the student participation
physically. The model intends to stimulate higher thinking order of the
student. It indicates the GI has relevant on the higher thinking order. In the
other hand, GI also stimulates the student collaboration. The research aims to
investigate application GI learning model enhancing on higher thinking order
and social psycomotor of student in science biology learning at Junior High
School. This research is a class action research that uses one class as an
action class. The learning process uses two cycles. The data analysis uses
qualitative descriptive analysis where the higher thinking order gained from
the assessment of doing the worksheet and the social psycomotor gained from the
assessment of the student behavior during the learning process. Based on the
data analysis, higher thinking order increases 8,8% and social psycomotor
increases 2,53.
