PERSEPSI SISWA SMP ADVENT 01 MANADO TERHADAP LAYANAN SIRKULASI DI PERPUSTAKAAN UMUM KANTOR ARSIP DAN PERPUSTAKAAN KOTA MANADO
Abstract: The phenomenon that
made the object of research is not optimal circulation services in public
libraries Office of Archives and Library of the city of Manado in carrying out
the duties and functions of the organization of a number of service activities
in the library. The purpose of this research is to analyze the perception of
junior high school students Advent 01 Manado to public library services in the
circulation of the Archives and Library of the city of Manado. This study used
a descriptive analytical approach. Data collection techniques used is a
literature review and questionnaire techniques. The research sample of 30
respondents, making the sample size of the study population carried out by
accidental, taking the respondents in the sample by way of coincidence. Based
on the discussion of the results obtained by the main points of the conclusions
are: First, 01 Adventist Junior High Student Perceptions of Manado associated
with circulation services in public libraries, the majority of respondents to respond
Agree, namely 62.9 percent, 20.0 percent Strongly Agree, and Neutral 10.5
percent. Second, in the Public Library Circulation Services Office of Archives
and Library of the city of Manado, the majority of respondents to respond
Agree, namely 57.6 percent, 22.1 percent Strongly Agree, Neutral 8.6 percent,
9.5 percent Disagree, and Strongly agree 2.1 percent. Third, the perception of
junior high school students Advent 01 Manado to public library services in the
circulation of the Archives and Library of Manado City needs to be improvement
in service delivery to students in order to motivate students to visit and read
in public libraries Office of Archives and Library of the city of Manado is
growing.
