KOMUNIKASI INFORMASI DAN EDUKASI (KIE) SEBAGAI BENTUK SOSIALISASI PROGRAM KELUARGA BERENCANA (KB) DI KELURAHAN TINGKULU KECAMATAN WANEA MANADO
Abstract: Information and
Education Communication (IEC) as a form of socialization of family planning
(FP) is very important especially for the people of fertile age pair (EFA),
particularly in Sub Tingkulu Wanea District of Manado which has the purpose,
among others, to encourage and improve the knowledge, attitude and the practice
of family planning in the community in order to reach the addition of new
participants, and the preservation of FP. Methods: This study used qualitative
research methods and use interpersonal communication theory also persuasive
communication theory. Results: The results of the study Information and
Education Communication (IEC) went well, but those that did not go well.
Suggestions: Family Planning for Field Officers (field officers) must have good
communication skills in conveying information and education to the community
target, the public can apply for Information and Education Communication
program of family planning that has been obtained through an explanation of Family
Planning Field Officers (FPFO) in their lives.
