BRANDING PERGURUAN TINGGI NEGERI (STUDI KASUS STRATEGI MARKETING PUBLIC RELATIONS UNIVERSITAS JENDERAL SOEDIRMAN)
Abstract: The title of this
research is branding strategy a state university (Case Study (Marketing Public
Relations State Genral Soedirman University).The method used in this research
is qualitative research by approach case study., The main informant selection
technique in this study is to purposive sampling. Engineering data collection
using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this
study indicate that marketing public relations General Soedirman University in
doing branding strategy uses three of the five steps in branding. First is the
brand campaign, with campaign / communicating various achievements obtained,
and brand identity campaign (branding) as a public university that has a great
personality as commander General Soedirman who brave, decisive, and have
unyielding spirit using communication media Second, brand recognition perform
repeated positioning through a variety of activities that lead to positioning
as a world class civic university using various media such as socialization,
and promotion using print and electronic media. Third, brand preference, by
opening the doctoral program for biology programs S3 and S3 program management
science, education courses and doctoral programs.
