PERTUMBUHAN PENDUDUK, PEMBANGUNAN EKONOMI DAN KELUARGA BERENCANA (KB) DI KOTA SOLOK
ABSTRACT: This paper discuss about
growing of population
in one of
province in west
Sumatra, Solok. The objectives of this study are : firstly, to find out
how the population growth in the city of Solok,secondly, to explore economic
development in the city of Solok, thirdly, to investigate the implementation of
family planning program (KB) in Solok . Moreover, this study used method as
follow: population growth measured by using Cohort Change Rate method (known as
Rate of Change From Two Cohort Population Census / Survey. In addition,
economic development measured
by using traditional
methods or Geometric Growth
Rate Of Growth
In Geometric. Especially
for Family Planning, measured by
using descriptive analysis
method. The results
concluded that :
1 . Solok population growth
has increased from
year to year
(according to statistics)
. 2 . Existence
of economic growth
is an indication
of economic success
(look at the
table that an increase
in projected GDP
growth) in the
business field. 3.
Implementation of the family
planning program (KB) in Solok will be as good as the support of all parties. 4. Factor
The main cause
is the population
pertunbuhan scientific progress
and technology especially in
the field of
health. Adjustable Thus
births and deaths
can be prevented.
