PEKERJA ANAK MENUJU KEMANDIRIAN BERWIRAUSAHA MELALUI PESANTREN

ABSTRACT: This paper aims to look at how the role of social capital in promoting entrepreneurship in Minang community in the area of Batam, Pekanbaru and Padang as well as creating a policy to develop social capital in society, especially in improving the entrepreneurial ethnic  Minang.  This  article  contains  basically  how  far  ethnic  Minang  develop  their business  so  successful  and  how  big  a  role  social  capital  (networks,  trust  and reciprocity) makes success in Minang ethnic entrepreneurship. Under these conditions, the profile entrepreneur successful businesses, maps problems and solutions to improve the role of social capital in promoting entrepreneurship in Minang society also will look at in this article. Package policies for policy makers, especially for a government role in  creating  entrepreneur  also  be  created.  This  study  was  conducted  in  3  areas  in Sumatra that is Batam, Pekanbaru and Padang using research instruments observation, documentation,  in-depth  interviews  with  entrepreneurs,  chief  bond  or  association  as well as FGD.
