PENGGUNAAN STRUKTUR PEMBELAJARAN SEQIP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI PANEMBAHAN YOGYAKARTA
Abstract: This study aims to
find out improvement and description of learning outcomes IPA descriptions
using SEQIP learning structure.
This study is a classroom action research design adopted from Kemmis
& Taggart (1988). The subject of the study is a fifth grade elementary
school students Panembahan. The study was conducted in three cycles and in each
cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data
obtained in this study is the result of tests of cognitive and affective
scores. The instrument used in this study is Learning Implementation Plan,
Worksheet, observation sheets, daily journals, and test. Data was analyzed by
descriptive statistics as a measure of improvement of process of learning. The
success rate in this study was 65% of the number of students appearing six
indicators of the affective domain and cognitive scored at least 7.
The results showed that the cognitive and affective domains has increased
from the initial conditions. Achievement criteria as realization of affective
quality improvement demonstrated by 21 students who achieve a grade of at least
6 (82%) in the first cycle, 17 (68%) of students in the second cycle, and 23
students (92%) in the third cycle. The cognitive improvement shown by students
who achieve a minimum score 7 which gained by 19 students (76%) in the first
cycle, 19 students (76%) in the second cycle, and 20 students (80%) in the
third cycle.
