PENGARUH KUALITAS LAYANAN PENDIDIKAN LEMBAGA PAUD TERHADAP TINGKAT KEPUASAN ORANG TUA DI KECAMATAN GUNUNGPATI KOTA SEMARANG
Abstract: This research
background was based on the fact of increasing from the Early Childhood
Education in Gunungpati district Semarang city. Recently, Early Childhood
Education try to increase their quality for getting attention from parents and
increase their satisfaction. The problem from this research is what’s the influence
of education service quality in Early Childhood Education to parent’s
satisfaction. The purposes from this research are knowing education service in
Early Childhood Education, knowing parent’s satisfaction to education service,
knowing the influence of education service quality in Early Childhood Education
to parent’s satisfaction.
Population from this research is 1577 parents of many children in Early
Childhood Education in Gunungpati. Method for getting sampel of this research
is random proportional sample. From this method, we get 94 parents for sampel.
There are 2 variable in this research. The first variable is education service
quality in Early Childhood Education and the second variable is parent’s
satisfaction. Method of data collecting is questioner, interview, and document.
Method of data analysis is descriptive data analysis, inference data analysis,
and regression with simultan test of hypothesis (F).
The result of regression linier test is: (1) there is positive
correlation between education service quality in Early Childhood Education and
parent’s satisfaction (p < 0,05),, (2) education service quality in Early Childhood
Education giving 65,2 % influence to parent’s satisfaction.
The conclusion from this research is the influence of education service
quality in Early Childhood Education to parent’s satisfaction is 65,2 %.
Researcer recommend for owner and teacher of Early Childhood Education to
increase their education service quality, so that parent’s satisfaction can
more increase. And than, researcer recommend for next researcher to use many
variables that influence the parent’s satisfaction.
