LAYANAN INFORMASI TENTANG BAHAYA PENGGUNAAN FACEBOOK BERBASIS MULTIMEDIA-PRESENTASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KONTROL DIRI TERHADAP PENYALAHGUNAANNYA PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII SMP AL-ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014
ABSTRACT: The purpose of the
study is to examine the effectiveness of the information service about the
dangers of Facebook usage based presentation-multimedia to improve self-control
about misuse of Facebook usage in seventh grade students of SMP Al-Islam 1
Surakarta Academic Year 2013/2014.
The research is an experimental research using a study program
Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of the research is seventh
grade student of SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta Academic Year 2013/2014, consists of
62 students. The sampling technique using simple random sampling. Source of
data derived from primary data, i.e. students. The instrument that used is
questionnaire of self-control about misuse of Facebook usage. Analysis of data
using the formula Independent Samples T Test and Paired Samples T Test with
SPSS Statistics 18 software.
Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be seen :
1. There is no significant difference between the pre-test scores of
self-control about misuse of Facebook in the experimental group and the control
group, that evidenced by tcount 0.012 with p = 0.991 > 0.05.
2. There is a very significant difference between the post-test scores of
self-control about misuse of Facebook in the experimental group treated in the
form of service information about the dangers of Facebook usage - based
presentations-multimedia with a control group who did not receive treatment.
Evidenced by tcount 4.389 with p = 0.000 < 0.01.
3. There is a very significant difference between pre-test scores with
post-test scores of self-control about misuse of Facebook in the experimental
group. Evidenced by tcount 5.116 with p = 0.000 < 0.01.
So, it can be concluded that the information service about the dangers of
Facebook usage based presentation-multimedia effective to improve self-control
about its misuse in seventh grade student of SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta Academic
Year 2013/2014.
