LAYANAN INFORMASI KARIER DENGAN MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT STUDI LANJUT KE SMK (Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015)
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
study is to examine the effectiveness of career information service with
audiovisual media to increase further studies interest to vocational school on
students class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo Lessons Year 2014/2015.
This research was quasi experimental research using The Nonequivalent
Control Group Design. The population in this research is the students of class
VIII SMP Negeri 2 Jatirogo. The sample is the students of class VIIIA as
experimental groups as many as 35 people and class VIIID as control group as
many as 35 people. Sampling technique was using a purposive random sampling.
Treatment was provision of career information service carried out four times.
The data was the interest of further studies to vocational school. The source
of data was comes from primary data, the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2
Jatirogo Lessons Year 2014/2015. The instruments used were the questionnaire of
the interest in further studies into vocational school. Data analysis was used
the Independent Samples T Test and Paired Samples T Test formula with SPSS
Statistics Software 20.
The results of this research indicate that: (1) there was a differences
very significant of interest in further studies to vocational school between
group experiments who got career information service with audiovisual media
with a control group who had not got it, with a value of tcount 11,635 and p
value = 0,243 > 0.05, (2) there was a differences very significant of
interest in further studies to vocational school between group experiments
before and after career information service given to them with audiovisual
media, with a value of tcount 202,123
and p value = 0.000 < 0.01.
Based on the results of this research can be concluded that career
information service with audiovisual media was effective for increasing
interest in further studies to SMK on students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2
Jatirogo Lessons Year 2014/2015.
