KEEFEKTIFAN LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KARIR DENGAN MELALUI PETA PIKIRAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PERENCANAAN KARIR (PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 4 WONOGIRITAHUN AJARAN 2013 / 2014)
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
study was to determine the effectiveness of career guidance services through
mind maps to improve learners planning a career in SMP Negeri 4 Wonogiri. This
study was a quasi experiment, the research by using two groups each acting as a
control group and an experimental group, with the provision of pre-test in both
groups, the provision of treatment in the experimental group, and ends with the
provision of post-test in both groups. Treatment with the provision of career
guidance services through mind maps held 4 meetings. Subjects were participants
eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Wonogiri. Intake of subjects using
purposive sampling technique. Collection technique using a questionnaire
compaction criteria count r> r table. Validity and reliability of test
results obtained 55 item questionnaire valid and reliable. Data analysis
techniques and the validity of using the product moment reliability using
Cronbach alpha through the application of SPSS.
The results of the data analysis of the value of different test post-test
control group and the experimental group showed that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of
0.000 < 0.01. In addition, the value of the post-test in the experimental
group had an average score higher than the control group by a margin of 53.89.
Furthermore, different test results of pre-test and post-test in the
experimental group showed of 0.000 < 0.01. Thus Ho is rejected and Ha
accepted research, so that the treatment of the experimental group in this
study resulted in improvement of the condition of the career planning skills.
Conclusions This study is the career guidance services through effective
mind maps to enhance the ability of students planning careers SMP Negeri IV
Wonogiri.
