LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN MODEL HALAQAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR (Penelitian pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIII MTs. Negeri Mlinjon Filial Trucuk Klaten Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014)

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of group guidancewith halaqah models to improve student learning motivation. This research was conducted in eight grade students of MTs Negeri Mlinjon Filial Trucuk Klaten academic year 2013/2014.
This research is experimental research design using Quasi Experimental Non Equivalent Control Group Design, two groups each of which acts as an experimental group and control group, by conferral a pretest in both groups, conferral of treatment in the experimental group, and ends with conferralposttest in both groups in order to compare the results of both groups .
The conferral of group guidance with halaqah models performed three meetings. The population is eigh grade student of MTs Negeri Mlinjon Filial Trucuk Klaten, the conferral of sample using purposive random sampling. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires with criteria r count > r table. The results of the validity test questionnaire pointed out that there are 36 valid items. Data analysis using Microsoft Axcel 2007 with technique independent Samples T Test.
Based on data analysis between the experimental group and the control group can be seen that the group guidance with halaqah  models effectively improve students career understanding. This evident is from t count0,500 > t table2,045 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, this hypothesis is accepted, which means there is a significant difference in students learning motivation between experimental group and the control group.
The conclusions of this research is group guidance with halaqah models effectively improve students learning motivation of eight grade MTs Negeri Mlinjon Filial Trucuk Klaten Academic Year 2013/2014 .
