KONTRIBUSI KONFORMITAS PADA TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 1 NGEMPLAK BOYOLALI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013
ABSTRACT: This study aims at
determining: (1) the level of students’ confidence of class XI of SMA Negeri 1
Ngemplak Boyolali, (2) the level of students’ conformity to peers, (3) the
contribution of conformity to peers towards students’ confidence of class XI of
SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali.
This research is a descriptive quantitative. The research was conducted
at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. The population of this study is class XI
totalling 200 students. The sample of this study is in total of 132 students.
The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The data was collected
using questionnaires on confidence and questionnaires on conformity to peers.
The data analysis for the first and second hypotheses was done through One Tail
Test t-test with the Left Tail Test, while the third hypothesis was analysed
through simple regression analysis using SPSS.
This study suggests that: (1) the level of students’ confidence of class
XI of SMAN 1 Ngemplak Boyolali in the academic year of 2013/2014 were
classified moderate (2) the level of students’ conformity to peers were
classified moderate (3) there is a contribution of students’ conformity to
peers towards students’ confidence at class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak
Boyolali in the academic year of 2013/2014, amounted to 17.5 %.
