BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK MELALUI TEKNIK PERMAINAN MONOPOLI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENYESUAIAN DIRI DI SEKOLAH (Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Sidoharjo Wonogiri Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015)

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the group guidance through monopoly game techniques to improve the self adjustment at school (in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sidoharjo Wonogiri academic year 2014/2015).
This research was a experiment with quasi-experimental design. The study subject were 32 students who have low self-adjustment in school. The techniques used for sampling is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques with the questionnaires self adjustment at school. Test the validity of the instrument with the Bivariate Pearson, while the reliability test instrument using techniques Alpha Cronbach reliability coefficient of 0.909. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistical analysis techniques Wilcoxon test and Mann-Whitney test.
The results showed difference between the experimental group pretest scores and posttest scores obtained value Wilcoxon Signed Test the Z count equal to -3.619 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.01, then (Ha) is accepted,means there is a significant difference pretest and posttest experimental group after getting treatment. Based on the results of the study also showed the experimental group and the kontrol group posttest scores obtained difference in value of the Mann-Whitney U test of 0.000 and price of Z at -4.829 with a significance of  0.000 < 0.01, then (H0) is rejected, means that there are significant differences between the experimental group and the control group with the group in the posttest value adjustment in school improvement.
Based on this research can be concluded that the group guidance through monopoly game techniques was effective to increase self adjustment at school (in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sidoharjo Wonogiri academic year 2014/2015).
